Maison de la photographie

The documentaries shown in the television room at La Maison de la Photographie are the first documentaries filmed in colour within the Berber tribes of the High Atlas, They were filmed one year after the independence of Morocco on the occasion of the first visit of a representative of the State to the Seksawa tribe. During Christmas 2009, a few months after the opening of  La Maison de la Photographie, Ana Muller, the daughter of Nicolas Muller, who is also a photographer, visited the museum. We had mentioned the importance of Muller’s work in one of our publications but we did not have a photograph of the artist taken during his stay in Morocco.
