La Maison de la Photographie is a place where memories are shared, ideas are exchanged and links are forged between people. We showcase original photographs of Morocco from the 1870s right up until the 1950s. It is one of the few places in existence which gives access to the photographic memory of Morocco in all its richness.
The main aims of La Maison de la Photographie are to showcase original photographs and to share our knowledge and love of Morocco. In order to achieve these aims we work alongside many associations and both national and international institutions such as Marrakech Alliance, IESA, UNESCO, ESAV and others.
La Maison de la Photographie offers the following services:
- Exhibitions
- Conferences
- Centre for research
- Welcomes students
- Welcomes trainees
- Screening documentary films about Morocco
- Information Centre: access to our on-site library
